About FODR

Since 2007, FODR has been working to better the lives of dogs and cats in our community. Operating only on donations, we are the only private all-volunteer rescue in the northeast MO region.

The pandemic has affected everyone – over the past year we have seen our volunteer base of board members and foster homes reduced to almost nothing. We simply cannot sustain operation of the rescue with so few helping hands. Our core group of volunteers has become exhausted with the daily demands of the rescue.

The animals already the rescue will continue to be cared for – we are committed to finding them all forever homes. We will not be responding to phone or any messages related to intake. We will still monitor our email FODR06@yahoo.com and you can contact us there for any non-intake related issues.
