Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Field of Dreams Rescue Inc. cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs
$200.00 Adoption Fee
Cats
$80.00 Adoption Fee

Fees for Dogs or Cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Field of Dreams Rescue Inc. cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Field of Dreams Rescue Inc. dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies upon relevant age
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Bordetella
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered upon appropriate age
  • Deworming
  • Flea and Tick Protection
Cats
  • Rabies & FVRCP
  • Test for Feline Leukemia & FIV & Heartworm
  • Deworming
  • Flea/Ear Mite treatments
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
