Leo is a 38 pound (although I suspect he needs to lose weight and will be 30 lbs ideally) mixed-breed dog. He has rottweiler/Bernese Mountain dog coloring – black with brown markings and some white – but is shaped like a Corgi.
He has 3 legs (missing his front right leg). He is 9 months old, friendly with people, kids, and dogs. He has been raised indoors with a family, is house broken and used to being in a crate.
Leo gets around well, is very upbeat, and wants to be wherever you are. We can go on 30 minute walks in the neighborhood but he has to rest sometimes. He plays with his foster dog sister a when she is willing, loves toys, and seems receptive to training. He has enough energy that he definitely needs to be taken on shorter walks a couple of times per day and/or to be in a household where there is another friendly dog that would hang out with him.
He was surrendered because the family didn’t have enough time for him and were keeping him crated too much. He injured his paw at 1 week old. It was amputated and the family bottle fed him from that point on.
